StarBucks - What's in it?

Home made coffee is the best...I gotta agree on that...no doubts here. But if I am unable to make coffee at home, I cant settle for anything other that StarBucks. Why is that so?

This is what happened today...I got up late...so decided I did not have time to make coffee (which takes less than 3 mins)...a very bad judgement on my part...but my brain does not work anyways till I have my first coffee...so me excused on that! Then me decides that me will grab coffee from StarBucks on my way to work. The coffee at the vending m/c at work sucks...I have that only on one of those afternoons when i cant do without coffee.

So me gets into the car...realizes I have only 15mins to get to work...there is a StarBucks a block from my house...but it was in the opposite direction...so me decides to look for StarBucks on the way to work...a very bad judgement....StarBucks a block away in the opposite direction is better searching for StarBucks...but my brain does not work anyways till I have my first coffee...so me excused on that!

Me searches for StarBucks, missing one on the way by making bad driving decisions...takes a left only lane and then realizing there was a StarBucks to my right...searches for more StarBucks on my way...but in vain. Reaches work 10mins late.... There is a StarBucks on campus at work and they are cash only but me totally out of cash...atleast should have stopped at an ATM on my way instead of searching for StarBucks....but my brain does not work anyways till I have my first coffee...so me excused on that!

Then since the restlessness grew...me called my buddy who works in the same building...dragged him to StarBucks @ work to pay for my coffee...I could have just borrowed money...why did I pull my buddy along...GOD ONLY KNOWS...my brain does not work anyways till I have my first coffee...so me excused on that!

Why Starbucks?
'cause Starbucks makes your decision making skills grow stronger. (this is "paraphrased" from a movie)... so i would recommend you not have your first coffee at home daily and have an adventure !!

I don't know about starbucks. Hope Morpheus is referring to the movie "You've got a mail". Tom hanks says, people really don't know what they want/like, and joints like starbucks helps their decision making skills grow stronger by offering standard(few) number of choices.

More like the tea stalls in mumbai, "cutting" or "special". Cutting is half glass and special is full glass tea. Cutting chai is more famous and prevalent.

If you want starbucks-like stuff in a jiffy:

1.5 spoons of nescafe, 3/4th mug of boiling water, 2 spoons of sugar. Top it off with a medium-large scoop of ice-cream. Plain Vanilla does just fine. (Play around with the quantities till you arrive at a combination you like).

Enjoy your almost Irish coffee :).

Morphy,

I make coffee at home everyday.
STARBUCKS is a luxury for me...I cant afford it everyday! I would always prefer homemade coffee...only if i dont get that does starbucks come into the picture!
